LEDs on the back of the screen light the wall in the colours of the image. A blue sky spreads blue behind the television; credits on black dim the room. It makes a 55-inch screen feel larger than it is, and it lowers the contrast between a bright picture and a dark room — which is what tires your eyes on a long evening.
At 2.5 to 3 metres from the sofa, 55 inches fills the right part of your field of view. Further back, look at 65. The diagonal is 140 cm, and the set is 123 cm wide — measure the cabinet before ordering.

It is an LED television at this price, not a Mini LED. It is comfortable in a normal living room, including during the day, but in direct sunlight on the screen a brighter set holds up better.
